The Role

There are not many positions in this market that genuinely sit across design and commercial from day one. This is one of them.

You will be coordinating design with clients and consultants on the front end, shaping how projects come together before construction begins, and stepping across to estimating when the numbers need to stack up. It is a role built for someone who thinks in both terms and does not want to be limited to one.

You will work directly alongside one of the strongest front-end operators in the Queensland fitout market. Someone who brings a rare combination of design instinct, client management skill and commercial understanding. The opportunity to learn here is genuine.

Day to Day

• Coordinate design and documentation on the front end of D&C specialist fitout projects

• Liaise with clients, architects and consultants throughout design development

• Prepare and manage estimates, tender submissions and cost plans

• Support the transition from concept through to construction-ready documentation

• Build and manage client relationships from first enquiry through to project handover

• Work closely with senior leadership as a trusted front-end operator

What You Bring

• A background from a design and construct builder, this is a firm requirement

• Experience in design coordination, estimating or a genuine mix of both

• Confident and credible with clients, a strong communicator who is easy to deal with

• Commercial awareness alongside a real eye for design

• Comfortable working across specialist fitout and refurbishment project types

• Relevant qualifications in construction, design or a related discipline
